    Hi there to ALL LONDON CABBIES!

    I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU for the excellent work you do and the commitment you show in making our journeys easier.I’m the parent of four special needs children and have the pleasure of using your cabs on a regular basis. My family have been lucky enough to attend the Xmas party you provide every year[ for the first time this year] it was fantastic, I understand that you also organize day trips as well, you are amazing!! so thank you all so much, many families benefit from your kindness.there is something I would like to bring to your attention.Is there a possibility that who ever organizes these events please consider that the phrase ‘under privileged children’ as being very offensive.On the goodie bag as we were leaving was written these words.As parents we do not see our children as being different or even under privileged, quite the opposite actually, we live in an amazing country there is NO ONE that is under privileged unless they are being oppressed starved or abused and my kids do not fit that description.So I hope you are not offended by what I am saying here, I would just like this to be changed if possible, is it?

    tx4 engine failure 

    i bought a tx4 from john patons in glasgow two and a half years ago this taxi is not fit for purpose,i have experienced most of the the same problems as most of you good people have mentioned. I took great care to have my services done at the main dealears at the correct intervils for the obvious reasons.picked the cab up at 4.30pm after its 130,000 miles service,less than 12 hours later the engine has pseezed, what does that mean i asked the reply was £5,000 please, so for what its worth i would say to anyone thinking of buying a tx4 THINK THINK THINK AND THINK most folk learn from there mistakes but it is a wise man that Learns from other peoples mistake THINK ABOUT IT

      Mine siezed early hours sunday 24/7/11–£4700 for supply & fit new vm engine.

      I am located in Liverpool & and am led to beleive there have only been 13 instances of siezed engines according to the manufactures in the UK,i’ve read about more than that on a couple of forums.

      no,funny that the tx5 euro 5 now come with unlimited mileage warranty on the engine core plugs,this is what used to rust and water got into the oil,my friend who works at heathrow,has an immaculate 07 plate fully lti serviced engine blew just after a major service,spoke to him last week ,told me he had spoken to lti,but they were not interested.will find out who he spoke to so you can phone this guy at coventry,maybe if everyone phones him he might get the message,i had a reply back from lti asking them how many tx4 engines,and crankshafts they have sold,they told me that they had nothing to hide,but would not tell me

    Hi, I’m trying to track a taxi driver down, as I owe him some money… I was in his cab on the 25th May and he took be to St Pancras International and I was late for my train. You were wearing sunglasses and so way I. You were listening to Magic FM you said how you loved your daughter and she was very cool!! You said I looked like your sister!     lost ipad mon march 7th from euston to Betterton St 

    Help please. Grey “black” cab from euston underground to Betterton St, Covent Garden, approx 11.20am – arrived Betterton St 11.35 ish.
    Two squiggles on receipt, not identifable. Driver approx 55, grey, glasses – i think, and i seem to remember a cap? Distinctly remember driver asking me to come around to pay – which had never happened before – Usually pay cash from back seat and collect receipt from outside.
    Anyhelp – I know its a long shot – but it was a birthday present – from a now dead parent….. thanks all…

    Hi all
    I am a constant user of London Cabs and hope that someone would be able to help. Today at about 19:30 I got a cab to Hartswood road – Wendell park area and left a PC World bag with a new Apple iPad. Please contact me if you find it !!! please please please!

      yep mate every year after 65 every 3 years after 50
